I miss the original version

I was using the original version of this for years & loved it. It was perfect for me. I'm glad they are finally thinking about other skin shades but why not just make the whole stick the same color & you buy the one that suits your skin? Me & a bunch if friends I have hate this new design. I have very fair, very cool skin so the gold side doesn't look good on me no matter how i try using it. I'm trying to find something similar to the original version because I'm paying for half a stick. I hope they change this again & make the whole a stick the same color & let us choose which one suits our skin color & tone.

I LOVED the original highbrow pencil. Period

This is really a bummer because I used to use those pencils down to the very nub and now I throw the other half away. Or I find a company that only makes the color I want. Why don't mess with a good thing?

Why mess with a good thing?

High brow was quite possibly my favorite Benefit Cosmetics item. Had I known they were redeveloping this product I would have stocked up. Agreeing with others who are also disappointed with this new design...not everyone wants or uses matte or shimmer. I really won't be using the shimmer end, so that's half of the product (and my money....) wasted. Times are tough for a lot of people right now. As silly as it may seem to some, I consider this item a treat for me esp when money is tight. I don't like how I no longer have a choice between shimmer and matte. Why???

Two in one - amazing!

Unlike someone's previous review, I think it's a GREAT idea to combine two of my favorite pencils in one. Absolutely nothing changed in the quality of the product, still same great pencil except two instead of one . Love love love
